Allegheny Region Participates in Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Fund raising for Charity

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is an annual event presented by the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers Foundation to raise funds for autistic and intellectual/developmental disability charities. Since its founding in 1983, the PVGP has donated $ 5.8 million. As a result of the pandemic, the 2020 Race Week events were canceled and replaced with socially distanced driving events and a select number of other events. Although the Race Week events will return in 2021, the loss of this year’s events created a significant loss in fund-raising for the PVGP charities.

To help offset the 2020 fund-raising gap, a special event was organized and hosted by Bentley Pittsburgh. The Allegheny Region was a key participant with 30 members and guests turning out for the event on a beautiful day.

To complete the setting, the staff at Bentley Pittsburgh led by marketing director Jason Moka arranged to have a showroom and entrance display of Rolls-Royces and Bentleys as the centerpiece of a gathering of 100 plus cars participating in the event and complimenting the newest Bentleys on display.

In addition, Allegheny Region member Terri Hohmann created and donated exquisite pieces of art glass for a silent auction benefiting the PVGP. At the end of the day, the event raised a total of $ 11,280 for the PVGP charities.
